Are lessons online only, or in person?

All Lanterna lessons are fully online. They take place over a live video call — such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams — that you and your tutor agree on, at the time booked in your Portal.

Online tuition isn't a compromise; it's a deliberate choice that gives students real advantages:

• The best tutors, wherever you are. Being online means we can match you with an expert IB tutor for your subject regardless of where either of you lives.
• Flexible scheduling. It's far easier to find times that fit around school, activities and time zones.
• Continuity when you travel. Your lessons carry on as normal whether you're at home, at school or away.
