What is a distribution and how to apply.

When we know a student’s ready for support, we’ll send you a distribution by email as well as making the job opening available on the Portal.

Distributions are full of crucial information to help you understand if you’re able to support a student. They’ll include information like:

  • The subject a students needs for support in
  • How much support they’re looking for and how regularly   
  • Where they're based internationally and the time zone
  • Information about the subject content they want to cover in classes
  • If the student has any Special Education Needs or Disabilities that should be taken into consideration.

We’ll only send you distributions about students looking for support in subjects you’re cleared to teach on the Portal.

You should review distributions carefully to make sure you’re well-suited to the support the student needs, and never apply to support a student without reading a distribution first. If you think you are well-suited to support a student, you can apply to be their tutor via the Portal.
