Where can I see my profile?
To view your profile, log in to the Portal and click on Profile & Finance in the left-hand sidebar.
Your profile is divided into the following tabs:
Contact information Your personal details including your name, email address, phone number, address, and country. You can update your phone number directly by clicking Edit. To update any other contact details, please contact us at tutoring@lanterna.com.
Education Your academic background and qualifications, including your higher education history, IB experience, professional teaching experience, IB teacher experience, CAT certificates, and recent teaching positions. You can edit this section directly.
Your support This section has two parts:
- Your style -- a description of how you approach lessons and your teaching style
- Your experience -- a more detailed overview of your tutoring and subject experience
You can edit both fields directly. Please write in a friendly and approachable tone, in the first person, and do not reference any other tutoring agency. If we reach out to ask you to update or add information here, please make sure to do so promptly.
Hardware setup Details about your equipment and setup for online sessions, including your screen setup, writing tablet, camera, microphone, and internet speed. You can edit this section directly.
Revision courses This tab shows your interest in teaching revision courses. Please note that revision courses are not currently offered to students, so no action is needed here for now.
Please note that your profile is reviewed by our team and used when considering your student applications. It is mandatory that you keep it up to date. We ask all tutors to review their profile at least once a year, ideally before the start of the new academic year.
