Choosing and changing your tutor

Once you have purchased a package, matching is up to us — and we take it seriously. Within 24–48 hours we propose or assign a tutor chosen to fit your subject, goals, level and availability. Your tutor will then reach out to get things started.

What if it's not the right fit?

That is completely fine, and more common than you might think. If your tutor isn't quite right — for any reason at all — just email tutoring@lanterna.com with your tutor's name and a short note on what you are looking for. We will rematch you with someone better suited. There is no awkwardness and no need to explain it to your tutor directly; we handle that for you.

Changing tutor does not affect your remaining credits — they stay exactly where they are.
