Booking lessons

Booking lessons is simple, and your tutor does most of the work for you. Here's how it happens from start to finish.

1. You get matched. After you purchase a package, we match you with a tutor within 24–48 hours (depending on demand and timetable availability).

2. Your tutor gets in touch. Your tutor will email you shortly after you're linked to introduce themselves, understand your goals, and start planning your lessons together.

3. You agree times together. You and your tutor decide on lesson times that suit you both. Once you've agreed a time, your tutor books each lesson into the Portal for you.

4. You'll see every booking in the Portal. Once a lesson is booked, you can see all the key details:

• Date
• Time
• Subject
• Tutor
• Remarks
• Status

5. Your lesson takes place online. Lessons are held over a video call — such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams — that you and your tutor arrange together. Your tutor sends the joining link before the lesson, so there's nothing complicated to set up. See How do I join my lesson?

After each lesson, your tutor marks it as 'Complete' in the Portal. You can review your lessons any time under 'My Tuition' in the left-hand menu, then clicking on the relevant subject.
