How is tutoring priced?

Lanterna tutoring is priced from £58/hour. You buy a package of hours, and those hours become credits in your account — 1 credit = 1 hour of live tutoring.

There isn't a single flat price, because the per-hour rate depends on two things:

• The size of your package. The bigger the package, the lower the per-hour rate. Buying more hours at once works out cheaper per hour than buying a few.
• The tutor type you choose. Our tutors come as Graduates, Teachers and Specialists. A Specialist (a Teacher who also has IB examiner or senior-marker experience) is priced differently from a Graduate. You can read more about the three types in the tutors section of the help centre.
