Can I pause lessons over holidays or study leave?

Yes, absolutely. Life gets busy — holidays, study leave, exam season — and it's completely fine to take a break from lessons and pick things up again when you're ready.

To pause, just agree a break with your tutor. Your credits don't disappear when you pause; they stay on your account, subject to your package's overall expiry window. (For more on how long credits last, see What are credits, and do they expire?)

While you're paused, your tutor can make the subject 'inactive' in the Portal, then set it active again when you return. This simply keeps your 'My Tuition' page tidy — it doesn't affect any credits or packages you've bought. You can read more on the My Tuition page.
