What if my tutor is late or doesn't show up?

It's very rare for a tutor not to appear, but if it happens, here's exactly what to do — and don't worry, your credit is protected.

• Wait a few minutes and check you've opened the correct video-call link your tutor sent. It's easy for a lesson to start a moment late.
• Message your tutor to let them know you're waiting. A quick message often sorts out a small mix-up.
• If you still can't connect, email tutoring@lanterna.com or message us on live chat.

If your tutor doesn't show up, you won't lose the credit for that lesson — credits are protected against a tutor no-show. We'll make sure the lesson is put right and help you reschedule at a time that suits you. (A credit is only used if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or don't attend yourself — see Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson.)
