Active and Inactive subjects
What does active and inactive subjects mean? and why would you change the status of a subject?
You can view the subjects which you're receiving support in on the "My Tuition" tab.
You may be receiving support from multiple tutors in multiple subjects.
To help you and your tutors manage your tuition page best, subjects can be made active or inactive by your tutor.
- Active subjects are subjects where your tutor is actively delivering support to you.
- Inactive subjects are subjects where you and the tutor have paused/completed/or ended your tutoring together.
There are many reasons that you and your tutor might want to make a subject inactive. For example:
- You want to pause your tuition over the summer break.
- You were getting support with a particular objective (like a piece of work, or test preparation) which has now taken place.
- You've used all the credits in your package for that subject
- You've graduated, and no longer need support.
You should be aware that:
- Making a subject inactive doesn't affect any credits or packages you've bought for that subject
- A subjects can be made active/inactive at any time
- Only your tutor can make a subjects active/inactive. If you want to make a subject active/inactive, you should speak with your tutor.
