How long does it take to be linked after applying?

I have applied to tutor a student, how long do I have to wait to hear a response?

Lanterna Education

Once you have applied to tutor a student either via the Portal or through the distribution email, it will take roughly 24-48 hours to hear a response if you are a Lanterna Education tutor. During this time the tutor that is the best first for the student is selected. Once a tutor is selected you will either receive an email with further linking information or a rejection for this specific tutoring opportunity.  

Elite IB

If you are an Elite IB tutor, then it can take up to 7 days for you to hear a response. During this time we are undergoing communication and proposal processes with the student. Once a tutor is selected for the tutoring position you will either receive an email with further linking information or a rejection for this specific tutoring opportunity.
